Kamila Sipika

Biography

Kamila Sipika (1997, PL), currently based in The Hague, Netherlands, graduated from Royal Academy of Art The Hague (KABK) and from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. 

 

Her main focus is on paintings on raw cotton and linen. Kamila works with topics such as ephemerality, decay, seduction and manipulation of images, and she drives her inspirations from nature. Her work engages the audience to investigate the relationship between the painting medium and nature; how it is affected and responds to its surroundings in themes, materials and forms.
